WHO IS BAILEY GOFORTH
A young, social media savy entreprenuer
Starting at a young age, Bailey was a hardworking individual. With a "go-getter" personality, Bailey thrived in her academics and athletics. Earning a scholarship to Wingate University for academics and securing a spot on the universities Track and Field team, Bailey's tireless efforts in high school paid off.

Although academics and athletics were Bailey's focus in high school, once at Wingate University a new passion emerged within her. Bailey discovered that she had a passion for marketing, blogging, and social media. That's where her adventure kickstarted.

Beginning in the summer of 2017, Bailey began working with businesses through her social media networks. As a social media influencer and brand ambassador, she found a desire to build companies marketing departments to fit within the new age of social media. Choosing a Marketing major at Wingate University she is a young professional committed to applying well-developed web and social media skills in a fast-paced environment. An enthusiastic individual with an upbeat attitude and lots of creativity, Bailey has worked with different companies, and recently worked in-store with two boutiques in North Carolina to enhance their marketing strategies.

Along with her work in social media marketing, it also earned her an athletics communication assistant spot for Wingate University where Bailey planned and instituted a marketing plan for the Wingate Bulldogs Instagram stories. As Bailey continues to earn her degree and work for Wingate University she also began a YouTube channel to express her creative side. Although a personal YouTube channel, this experience has given Bailey experience in video editing, another skill vital to have as a marketing major.

August 2018 to present
As the social media assistant for Wingate University Athletics, my main responsibilities include running the @wingatebulldogs Instagram account during sporting events. During the events I post live updates, videos, and stories of the game.

I am responsible for creative design for the Instagram account as well as help plan and implement social media marketing plans for Instagram. Through my work I have increased the @wingatebulldogs online presence and social media traffic.
ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT
August 2017 - May 2018
Assisted the Wingate University Admissions team on entering information on students' transcripts using Salesforce.

Answered the phone and greeted callers enthusiastically, while providing insights on Wingate University and redirecting callers to the correct department or faculty member if I was unable to answer their questions.
